  • Sponsored by Vancouver Sun Wah Center, Canada Guangdong Association, The Chinese New Era Cultural and Economic Trading Association of Canada, Canada China National Academy of PRC Arts Inc and other organizations co-organized the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, stamps and coins exhibition and Cai Guanshen Cultural Center, in September On the 28th, the opening ceremony was successfully held to celebrate China’s National Day.
This exhibit is worth both in the collection and historical value. It is presented by the senior collectors. I hope that through the days of China’s 70th National Day, Canadian Chinese and non-Chinese people can enjoy the exhibits together with fun.
  • Chinese Consul General Tong Xiaoling had attended the opening ceremony while the Sun Wah Group representatives are Jesse Choi and Catherine Kwan. We are really honor about inviting Hu Xiao and Jiang Rong – Chinese cultural consuls, BC Provincial Councilor Michael Lee and John Yap, City Councilor- Sarah Kirby-Yung, Jin Swanson, Chak Au, Chief Commissioner of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Canada – Catherine Yuen, and Co-organizer of the Guangdong Association of Guangdong Associations – William Ma, as our guests.
Tong Xiaoling said it is a smart choice to provide such cultural platform for exhibition use. Which have good advantage in both Sun Wah group and the organization in Chinatown. This event is very valuable. They are all precious personal collections, and have witnessed the development from the struggle, construction and achievements of China and its people.
Jesse Choi said that the Hong Kong Sun Wah Foundation and the Dr. Jonathan Choi’s Foundation had established Dr. Jonathan Choi Cultural Center as a platform for educational and cultural exchanges purposes in France, Vietnam, Japan and Canada.
  • The Chinese New Era Cultural and Economic Trading Association of Canada and Canada China National Academy of PRC Arts Inc promoted the Art culture between China and Canada, strongly supported the Grand opening of the Dr Jonathan Choi KS Cultural Center, and presented a special painting to Sun Wah.
